Established in 1929, Gust Ratas opened a retail shop on the corner of 5th and Wells in Downtown Milwaukee selling tobacco. When Prohibition ended, Gust began selling liquor, as well. In 1955 Gust's son, Tom, returned from war and took over the family business, moving to 60th & North where he created a full-service wholesale store. In 1988 Ratas Wholesale Liquor moved again, this time to the corner of 84th and Morgan in Milwaukee. In 2005 we settled on our current location in West Allis.
Ratas Wholesale Liquor is still a one-stop supplier of liquor, beer, wine, soda, bar supplies, and cleaning supplies. We're like a "wholesale liquor store" for your business, and we're here for you!
